So I’ve been laying low for a bit, sort of digesting the monumental events of the last few weeks. To say I’m happy with the outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election would be an understatement. For all intents and purposes though, I believe we can sum it all up by saying, Americans soundly rejected the democrat agenda of “woke” identity politics and an open border, in favor of common sense and a better economic future for their children. With that said, I’m focusing on the future, getting away from Facebook and leaning into X as planned, so as to be a voice of reason as President Trump sets about making America great again.
My current take however, and as I watch leftist screwballs like Joy Behar and (too many “whoopi” pies) Goldberg melt down over the very dramatic trouncing of VP Harris, is they seem more pissed because Trump hasn’t yet announced his plans to lock them all up and/or put them in re-education camps as they themselves have publicly advocated for all “MAGA” folks. It’s almost anti-climactic for them, and it’s as if they’re having to create drama where there really isn’t any. LOL!
Trump for his part, and as reasonable voters knew all along, is completely disinterested with the lefties but rather laser focused on exactly what he said he would be, making a better, stronger America.
Still, there are still very vocal agitators in this country whose sole purpose in life is to thwart any and all efforts by Donald Trump the man with every fiber of their being. Regrettably, some have even been elected to positions of power by ignorant folks, thus the business of things like deporting illegals, cutting taxes and keeping perverts out of ladies rooms will be a challenge. Nevertheless, look for Trump and his MAGA Team to move forward at a pace not usually seen in DC. Much of what can be accomplished by executive fiat will take place on day one, as Trump brings back policies that were working four years ago, while simultaneously axing Biden-era nonsense with the stroke of his gold pen.
In the end, one of the more annoying things we’ll see over the next couple of months and beyond, is a well orchestrated plan of disruption and misinformation by democrats, (aided and abetted by a complicit propaganda press that apparently hasn’t learned a thing), aimed not at helping rescue this republic out of the ashes of the Biden/Harris experience, but rather only to wrestle back power and continue their quest to “fundamentally change” the greatest experiment in human freedom the world has ever known into the rest of the world.
For my part today, I’m relieved at the notion we were able to fight off the evils of socialism and communism once again, (to include rigged elections), and enter into a period of national revival. Will we learn from this victory and what lies beyond it? It’s hard to say. Nevertheless, I earnestly pray you all have a happy, safe and healthy Thanksgiving. And may we all take stock of what we as God’s people have to be truly thankful for. One only need look to November the 5th to understand why.
