James Earl Carter Jr. 10/1/1924 – 12/29/2024

This is why I’m never impressed when I see cozy photo ops like the one at the White House not long after Trump routed Harris in the November election. I say this because if you listen close enough, you can hear who Joe Biden really is, along with the rest of the new Democrat Party, the latest evidence being his recent comments regarding the “decency” of the late President, Jimmy Carter. I believe one of the FOX & Friends hosts said it right this morning, when he remarked that he understood and agreed with Biden’s praise of Carter’s “decency”, but that he didn’t necessarily feel Biden was the best messenger, especially when it was clear that his comments were also a dig at 47. And while I’m always hesitant making reactionary comments after high profile passings, I do agree with the sentiment of that host.

Now Notwithstanding Biden’s continued but expected ignorance, Jimmy Carter the president had little to be proud of after the Reagan revolution sent him packing from the White House in 81. But our lives are never singular, are they. In fact, I’d say they’re like chapters in a book, each one different, but when taken in the collective make a story.

James Earl Carter Jr.’s political journey from State Senator, to governor, to President in just 14 years was no small accomplishment to be sure. To the contrary, it was an amazing ascension that reflected a mastering of the notion and concept that “all politics are local”. A man of “born again” faith and faithfulness, he and his late wife of 77 years offered a rare picture of what a “lifetime of service” looks like, and not just in a politic sense, but in the overall human experience. From leaving a promising career as a Navy Lieutenant to run the family farm after his father passed, to what I’m sure will be a legacy like no other in the form of “Habitat For Humanity”, Carter will be remembered first and foremost as yes, a good and “decent” man. As for Joe Biden however, and anyone in his group of leftist fools who thought it would be a good idea to use the passing of the 39th President to take yet another cheap shot at President-Elect Donald Trump, (something Carter wouldn’t have done), he will NEVER be remembered in such a way. No, unlike Carter, Biden’s past is riddled with misdeeds, hypocrisy, and outright deception. And no amount of news media/propaganda BS will ever erase that truth.

Nevertheless, we mourn Jimmy Carter the man today. And while history has spoken on his time as President, that same history will remember forever, his kindness and humanity. In the end, the latter are of far more consequence in God’s eyes, are they not…?
