Hang tight my fellow Americans. We’re now less than a week away from common sense. It’ll be a bumpy road to be sure, as leftists like Chucky Schumer and ‘Hack’eem Jeffries, (who incidentally have zero interest in bettering their respective constituencies, or America for that matter), attempt to use “advise and consent” to derail the Trump agenda Americans overwhelmingly voted for. Moreover, it really does appear Pete Hegseth’s confirmation hearing is where democrats plan to plant their flag. Not sure this is such a good idea, though. In fact Major Hegseth has more integrity in one fingernail than most of the folks who’ll be questioning him, and yes, this includes some republicans. In the end however, it’ll be Schumer and company who’ll do their level best to besmirch the reputation of a warrior hero whose boots they simply couldn’t shine. In fact, in his marching orders this past Monday, Schumer commented that democrats needed to be aggressive, promote “their brand”, and recapture the narrative. Really? What exactly would be their brand and narrative, drag queens in pre-schools, men having babies and playing women’s sports, open borders, rampant crime, law-fare, $9.00 eggs, etc, etc??? I mean, you can’t make this stuff up.

It will difficult to watch and listen to these fools attempt to browbeat this battle hardened war-fighter, who I’m pretty sure will take the high road throughout most of the questioning. I say this because our so-called representative government is currently nothing of the sort, but rather a sordid bunch of elitists, consumed by power and who’ve strayed about as far from “original intent” as they possibly could have.

So notwithstanding the plethora of political BS on tap in the weeks ahead, it appears America may be waking up, at least to the notion that something is wrong and must be addressed, for their children’s sake if nothing else. Common sense must preface the debate, as it did, not so long ago. I think this is what scares the left most of all. You see, they’ve done a pretty good job lulling America into a sense of complacency and ideological guilt these past four years. But at some point around November 5th, 2024 “We the People” decided enough was enough. Now it’s time to treat and heal the self inflicted wounds of the Biden era and “Make America Great Again”, as if there were ever anything wrong with that slogan… #Trump2025
